THE PROBLEM
With annual collection days cancelled due to COVID, SOI, like many charities were struggling with fundraising. There was intense competition for limited donor euros.
We needed to cut through and build relevance. We took the simple word "Can't", which our audience had only heard too much of in 2020 - "Can't meet the family", "Can't go to work", "Can't travel". Our special athletes had heard the word ‘can’t all of their lives. But the only thing they "Can't do" is stop their spirited journey to realising their sporting ambitions and beyond.
